I'd prefer to use the endorsement for IDU-sponsored, or at least IDU-commented upon proposals.

I think it makes our regional endorsement worth something. Since the basis of the regquest was the region's vote on the earlier resolution, I'd rather have a regional consensus, informally if need be before extending an endo in the proposal queue.
