This thread is the Office of Membership Administration for the League of International Democratic Union Nations. All members of the IDU are welcome to apply for LIDUN membership in this thread.

What is the LIDUN?

The LIDUN is the formal, in-character governance arm of the IDU. It is responsible for passing legislation that affects the region, electing the President, and resolving regional differences. The IDU places a premium on democratic engagement and encourages all IDU members to participate.

The President of the LIDUN is the in-character leader of the League, as well as the out-of-character leader of the region. The President is also responsible for placing items at vote and for admitting candidates into the LIDUN. The President shall be responsible for maintaining the list of LIDUN members.

A Member of the IDUSA is responsible for voting on legislation, electing the President, and participating in debates on regional matters. All members of the IDU are not only permitted but are encouraged to participate in the LIDUN.
