Hey, glad to see you want to integrate into regional history and whatnot. I would suggest maybe looking at the backgrounds of various nations in the IDU and seeing if any would be a good fit for a potential colonial founder for your backstory, and seeing if that player would be interested in working out a mutual history with you. Many players are more than happy to work out such collaborations.
