"We have come to a new constitution that will now be soon but up to vote by the people"
"Here the Preamble to it" he said
"We the People of Mallacaland set out in the new constitution the basic rules that shall govern this nation.
We Believe that every Mallacan has the right to support who they like, love who they like, believe in what they want.
We hold these things to be true and hope this document shall last for a long time, yet also that things change over time so the things stated here may not be appropriate or true in future times.
Either way, this document lays out how the Republic of Mallacland shall be run yet also that things can be changed to this document in the future"
The King paused for a moment
"We hope that you approve of the new constitution and that it shall guide us forward into the future"
"I hope Inshalla that you stay safe and Long Live Mallacaland"
The King walked off stage and looked around the Palace, things were being moved as the head of government was being moved across the hill to the Parliament Building. Even though he would remain here his role would be one of ceremony and diplomacy.
