Huang Kim was relaxing after a long day of flights at Kaijan City International Airport. The day had gone well for the terminal employee a plane originally planned to leave at 10:00 had become the red eye. Until then though it would be a nice evening maybe he would go walk around the building and see what was up. He walked past some waiting passengers and walked over to a small stall
“One paper please”
“Here you go Kaijan Times”
“Oh wow i did not now the Ambassador from Laurel was here in Kaijan”
“Yeah he is at the Airport Convention Center” the guy behind the counter said
“Do you guys have any Tea Balls”
“Sure do you want it with honey or sugar?”
“Okay i will take a bowl of 5 honey ones and some milk tea”
“That will be 25 Markons”
After he got his food Kim walked over to some passengers who were talking
“Are you guys good” he asked
“Yeah we're on our way to Democra City ”
“Wow thats a long one”
“Yeah we're flying up to New Liverpool then taking a 12 hour flight to Democra City”
“Well you guys have fun on your trip”
“Thanks see you..”
At that moment the building began to shake from loud booms
“What's Going on” the group yelled
“Look” another passenger pointed to the road coming into the airport
There was a fire on the bridge as well as the Convention Center across from it
“Everyone back away” Huang yelled
Then Huang's walkie-talkie came to life
“All Employees and Staff please get everyone down to the Runway help is on the way”
The Airport speakers ring to life as well “Everyone please report to the rainway there has been an explosion on Airport Drive please get to the nearest airport employee”.
People began to move in his direction asking so my questions
Huang stood on a chair and yelled “Everyone please remain calm and follow me to the exit and make sure everyone in your group is accounted for” A few minutes later everyone had formed around him and a few other employees. He guided the group down the Terminal past closed up shops as more and more began to follow the group. He then unlocked a side door and he led the group down a ramp and then he opened a door and led the group onto the runway where a large group of people were waiting. Hunag phone buzzed as he got some news alerts first the bridge out of the airport had collapsed as well as part of the convention center. In Provincetown 150 miles away a hotel had been raided by a masked intruder. In New Liverpool the Embassy District had been attacked by a gunman who had been arrested. In Eria the Sloksain Embassy had been destroyed by a exposlon. The Governor of Kaijan Province as well as the Governor of South Kaijan and the Mayor of New Liverpool had declared a state of emergency and had urged people to stay home. This was how the war began in 2006 it gave flashbacks to 10 year old him huddling in his home hearing explosions in the distance and the constant sound of military vehicles and helicopters. This felt different this felt new from 2006 this felt more planned,more dangerous yet the motive was to spread terror. Yet he knew that some people would not be intimidated by this group whoever they were. Those were the ones they needed to help find and destroy whoever did this.
