Melissa is the second-largest province, in the north-west of the country and contains Melissa City, Lauchenoiria’s largest city and the site of much controversy in recent years – it was the target of multiple state-sponsored terror attacks by foreign hostile powers in 2018. The riots caused by the Anarcho-Communist Collective of Lauchenoiria (ACCL) in February 2018 took place in Melissa City, which some say was a precursor to the Second Lauchenoirian Civil War, after Skodenian peacekeepers assisted the local police in the matter.
