An explosion ripped through a police precinct located at a busy intersection and memorial site in downtown Jade Harbor on Tuesday morning, killing at least 6 people and injuring dozens, in a stunning attack that has put Zamastan's terror watch level back to its highest and leaving questions as to who committed the atrocity, as no organization has yet claimed responsibility. It is widely suspected that the Malvarian Liberation Front is responsible for the attack, though they have not claimed responsibility for it.
The blast occurred during rush hour near the commercial port district of Jade Harbor's downtown area, at the crossroads intersection of Pelion Memorial Drive. Security footage captured the explosion, which came from a parked and apparently abandoned vehicle next to the Thomas Pelion Memorial Statue, which sits in front of the police station.
The attack comes as coalition forces make major gains against the terrorist group in Vulkaria, a month and a week after the terror group committed the devastating attacks of January 2nd. The attack hit just outside of a police precinct station located on the intersection, and many of the deceased are believed to be police officers. The terror warning level in Zamastan had been lowered to 3/5 on February 1st, after it had been elevated to 5 following the January 2nd attacks which killed 125 people in Tofino and Providence.
Tuesday's attack is the first terror attack to hit any of the coalition-involved nations since the operations in Vulkaria began on January 4th, and it has already heightened fears of possible lone-wolf attacks
