Zamastanian forces have begun and stalled their assault into Amden, as M.L.F. alligned fighters counter their attempts to seize the city of nearly 300,000 people. The city, which is deemed to be the most important crossroads point after Freeborn to securing routes deep into enemy territory, has been heavily fortified. Reports of heavy enemy fire came in all across the front of Zamastanian advances, and reports of casualties also came in from the advancing command.
Coalition forces split their routes after capturing Freeborn, with Shen and Maximusian forces traveling west and Zamastanian forces moving north to Amden. Along the highway, secured by Shen fighters, Zamastanians encountered roadside bombs and light insurgent ambush attacks.
President Sakzi reiterated support for the campaign, alongside Vulkarian President Farhen Brooks, who staunchly defended coalition efforts.
