Bayview Train Station
Time was of the essence, and everyone knew it. The Empress was needed in Aunistria to meet with Prime Minister Moretti and still had to head up to Verdesia to the Royal Palace. The Royal Train, The Verdesia Express, was a brand new electric train gifted to the Royal Family by the Government and managed to pull speeds of above 300 KPH even with the carriages attached. It's dozen or so carriages contained everything the Royals required as they rode through the country and much more.
Empress Yahumi and King Alexander took their seats on the Leisure carriage and the Royal Train set off, leaving the hordes of media and normal citizens behind. As the countryside rolled behind them, King Alexander narrated the History of Legionas and the Ermizat Kingdom as well as Legisatta State. The Battle of Red River, which occurred almost a millenia ago and set the foundations of the Ermizat Kingdom and Modern Legionas. The battle occured only a few miles west of the Eria River which they were adjacent to as they went along. As legend states, The Ermizat Kingdom threw the dead Legisatta foes into that very river after a fierce three-day battle. Empress Yahumi knew little of the story, but as she heard more from King Alexander she asked more and more questions and soon enough it felt like they were children again, listening to stories from their parents or tutors, running around palaces without a care in the world and ignoring the fact that they would soon be leaders.
As the train slowed on its approach to Aunistria, the skyline could be seen. Aunistria, the brainchild of Prime Minister William Allen, was quite simply stunning. The gleaming skyscrapers created an image of a stairway to the heavens, with many differing in size and shape. Yahumi was awestruck. The city was everything she was told and more. King Alexander grinned at the amazement on Yahumi's face. He simply said that Legionas has woken up from its slumber to take its position as the dominant power.
They arrived and Yahumi instructed her aide to take as many photos of the city as possible. They were ushered into a waiting limousine and the motorcade headed to the Presidential Palace. At the Palace, everything was set to the finest of detail. Mr Moretti waited, hoping he may get everything he wanted out of this visit...
