After weeks of debate, discussion and intrigue, the council of experts has finally made their decision. The Hueyi Tecocalli has announced that Empress Yahumi, has been declared the successor to her husbands legacy, and has been elected to sit on the obsidian throne.

This is a shock to many going into the election, with most people prediction that Teplicayotl would be elected emperor, but a combination of strategic endorsement, smart lobbying efforts, and excellent handling of accusations of having an affair, has proven them wrong.

The God-Empress released a statement congratulating the new empress, saying
