Three Bodies Discovered in Horrific Crime Scenes, Possible Serial Killer Phones Police
The discovery of three bodies in an Emerald suburb may be the work of a serial killer, police say. Emerald authorities were alerted by an anonymous caller who claimed to have killed several individuals in the Emerald suburb of Aubrey Hill on Saturday night. After the discovery of one body, police released information to the public regarding the nature of the call and that the killer may be trying to gain notoriety for their crimes. The discovery of two additional bodies, killed and maimed in a similar fashion to that of the first, confirmed fears by the police.
However horrifying, the body count is not what is putting the town on edge. The scenes of the crimes were "spontaneously and gruesomely horrific," said police sergeant James Orcen. He went on to say that "the bodies discovered were horrifically maimed, with their throats cut and unidentified insignia painted on the ground near the victims in their own blood."
The exact and full transcript of the unidentified individual's call to the police is mostly withheld at the time being, though police have declassified a few portions of the call to make public. The following are direct transcripts as given by the police:
- "I have just killed numerous individuals on a stretch of Clairmont Street in Emerald. Know that I did this.
- "I have killed before. Many you have found and investigated and many you do not know about. Know that I did this.
- ""Are you scared? You should be.
- "There are more coming. You'll hear from me again soon.
Police have classified the remainder of the call, but they have revealed to press that the caller describes in graphic detail the way in which they killed the three victims. Police have not confirmed whether the caller is actually the killer, "though it is highly suspected at this time."
