It's on some versions of the map (i.e. the one with the timezones) but for some reason it doesn't show up on the main map file.
So no, no particular reason. The map has over 100 layers, I imagine it's just a visibility bug.
How do you reconcile that with your recent statement, in the 'Elephants and related species' thread elsewhere in this forum, that "I'm not putting longitude and latitude on the map"?
After all, the concepts of timezones and longitude are intrinsically linked: Presuming a 24-hour day (and taking the world on which the IDU exists to match Earth for matters like day-length & year-length is what we normally have done...), the default width for a one-hour timezone -- before nations start making local adjustments for political reasons -- is 1/24 of the planet's circumference which is (360/24 =15) degrees of longitude...
