Here’s a question that I ask not just to satisfy my own curiosity but also to help other players work out how large their nations are and to help with working out plausible ecosystems for them_
As your previous explanation has been buried in the depths of the RMB, please would you tell us in this thread (Maybe in its opening post, as that would probably the most obvious place for people to look…) what range of latitudes the regional map is now considered to cover? And is that range between the actual northern & southern edges of the map, or just between the most northerly & most southerly points of land shown? With this information, people should be able to work out approximately how far their nations extend on the N-S axis, although the length of a degree of latitude does change slightly as one travels further from the equator. For working out how far nations extend on the E-W axis, though, we would also need to know what system of ‘projection’ you are using for the map, as that would tell us which latitude the E-W scale is most accurate for and how that aspect changes with differences in latitude…
