We also have very strict rape laws apart from the rapist receiving a criminal sentence. A rape victim is granted the status of a divorced spouse therefore they are entitled to 50% of the rapists assets. Marijuana is legal for private home use for religious or medicinal purposes but employers have the right to dismiss a worker who is under the influence just as they would for alcohol or any other drug.
As Lawtonia does not have many cars, driving is restricted to persons over the age of 25.
Polygamy is illegal for economic reasons. Since marriage includes legal and economic partnership it is restricted to two persons only. This avoids small groups of people getting married to each other to avoid business taxes. It is not a religious or moral issue.
