Churcher made some notes in a pad. "So a quarter of your POWs died. That seems careless at best, wouldn't you agree?" Churcher started. "No need to answer that question, counsel."

Flicking a page back, Churcher looked again at Sheridan. "So you moved POWs of various nationalities out of the conflict zone and into Kerlile, without consideration to the necessary vaccinations that they would require". She clasped her hands on front of her. "Ms. Sheridan, if I wanted to visit southern Zamastan, for example, I know I need certain vaccinations. If I were to bring my grandchildren, as the guardian, it is my responsibility to ensure they are vaccinated. By assuming responsibilities for these POWs, Kerlile assumed a form of guardianship."

"I am assuming all Kerlian Border Agents, or whatever they're called in your nation, are aware of this need for vaccination, especially as from what you tell me even short-term stays can lead one to be affected by this seemingly fatal disease. Did you bring these POWs through normal ports of entry, and did you have them undergo physicals or other health checks?"
