Doberman accuses Laurens of being a Kerlian agent
10th June 2019

Lauchenoiria First leader Paul Doberman has accused SDP leader Cassidy Laurens of being a Kerlian agent, following pro-Kerlile comments made by Laurens. At a meeting of SDP supporters on Thursday, Laurens was caught on microphone saying “say what you like about Kerlile, they’ve got the right idea about women’s rights”.

Laurens has since apologised for the ‘insensitive’ comments, saying that it was an attempt at a private joke with her aide, and she is sorry for any offence caused. Her party’s position in the polls has slipped massively since the incident, with some projections suggesting they will lose all their seats in the federal parliament.

Doberman today accused Laurens during a press conference of being an agent of the Kerlian state, saying: “she’s probably like Charissa Clarke – one of those Auroras, sent here to destabilise the government and take us over in the name of the Matriarchy.”

The so-called Aurora programme, the existence of which was revealed in leaked documents at the peace talks in Haven, Sanctaria, has been the cause of much debate in Lauchenoiria since the war. It is an alleged training programme for Kerlian sleeper agents, of which former Prime Minister Charissa Clarke was one. Lauchenoirians fear another infiltration, and Doberman has been urging for more measures to be taken to prevent one.

Laurens has denied the allegations, calling them ‘laughable’, and urging Lauchenoirians to ignore the far-right politician. She has refused to release her birth certificate and further documents from her childhood, as Doberman and supporters called on all female party leaders and presidential candidates to do.

SDP presidential candidate Daniela Penn, who distanced herself from Laurens’ comments on Thursday, said today: “not every female politician is a Kerlian sleeper agent, but Doberman’s accusations are proof that sexism is alive in this country and needs to be tackled. I have faith that Cassidy Laurens has the best interests of Lauchenoiria at heart.”
