Hogs Celebrate Advancement Out of Group Stage, Balek ‘Wants More’

Hogs celebrate draw with Trivian White Bear, knowing they are secured a spot in the elimation stage
The Gonhog Hogs, with a draw against the Trive White Bears Friday, has secured a spot in the elimination round in the IDUFC, where they will first face Gnejs.
Following an uneventful match against Trive, the game ended with a 1-1 draw, with the only goals coming from Trivian Roberto Ivanov and Gonhogian Sebastian Pokorney. Fans and the team alike celebrated when the final whistle blew, knowing that no matter what happened with the LOM vs. New Lusitania game the Hogs would advance.
However, not everyone was happy with the results.
Coach David Balek, in a press conference after the match, said he “wanted more”
He went on to say, “You know, when you draw two of your 3 matches, it’s not a good sign. Our draws came from sloppy plays from our defense who couldn’t get it together. The Dandelions will put up a battle that will surely be a tough one. And, looking forward, we might face the teams who were dominant in their groups like Shuell or United New England.
I’m happy we made it, but I want more from these kids and I’m making sure I’ll get it.”
