[Sanctaria]

Hi guys, what are the specifications for my nation to be on the map?

Sanctaria is in charge of the map, who gets on, and where. With this said, you are, as far as I know, entitled to a spot on the map. Just ask Sanctaria for a general location that isn't taken or reserved on this page. Assuming you are approved (you didn't pick a taken slot or a slot that was too large), Sanataria will add you to the map in due time and that will be that. I do not know sanataria's policy on adding cities and rivers and such. With this said, Sanctaria will most likely add your nation's big city(s). As far as choosing a location, think about the location where your nation would be best suited. If your nation is filled with seafarers, make sure to get a waterfront location. If your capitol is built near a lake, make sure that the slot has a lake, etc. Also, be realistic (In other words don't be me!) in choosing the location, If your nation is brand new to the IDU, don't expect to get the whole continent of Hespia! Look at the map. For reference, I have been with the IDU for 1 year and 2 or 3 months. Look at the size of my nation on the map and use that as a reference. Happy Hunting!

Let me know where you'd like, have it be a realistic size e.g. Kivasek is about the size of the Iberian peninsula, and if you want a capital city, I can add that too.

I like to limit the number of rivers/lakes I have to add, because that involves editing the underlying base layer on which everything else is built, and that breaks things sometimes.
