"Alright, Rebles and "suporters" now is your chance to speak."
The minister plenipotentiary from Libertas Omnium Maximus stood quickly. She had been reading the accords over and over again since they had first been introduced and could honestly state that she determined that it would be in LOM's best interest to support the initiative.
"The Republic of Libertas Omnium Maximus, which stands ever unified in the face of adversity, agrees on all to the accords on all but one acount..." she began as every other delegate in the room sighed. They did their homework, they saw the news, they new exactly what the young ambassador was about to say.
"We are appalled by the fact that no immediate action is to be taken against the Kerlians, who did willingly fund and/or support a known terrorist in hopes of taking out Maximusian high command."
A Kerlian ambassador stood furiously and was about to begin her well rehearsed, drama filled, speech when Smyth suddenly stood and exclaimed, "SILENCE!"
Smyth waited but a second for silence to defend before continuing, "This... panel... if you will, recognizes that the nation Kerlile has allegedly enabled attacks on LOM soil. With that said. This is not the International Affairs Committee. This is a special council to deal with the conflict in Lauchenioria! Until hard evidence proves that the attacks somehow tie in to this conflict... we cannot, in good faith, make any inclusions to penalize Kerlile! Do you have anything else to add LOM?"
Tulinsky sneered.
"Very well than! We support the accords. Just know that we will get retribution. Somehow."
At that, Melanie Tulinsky, Minister Plenipotentiary from LOM, stepped out of the room to place a phone call. A very long phone call.
