Have I Got Coups For You (COMPLETE)

Coalition encampment
July 23rd - Very Early

The Maximusian forces had been forced to leave almost 900 men I Carville in order to capture and secure it. The other 4,600 troops were now forced to march onward with the rest of the Coalition. Seargent Johan Mitz was one of thouse men. He was exuasted from nearly a week of marching and was upset that he wasn't relaxing in Carville now that the news had arrived that LOM had taken the city. Never the less, he was happy to finally be resting in his tent in a clearing. It was now almost one in the morning. The sergeant had been forced to stay up in order to insure that everyone in his Squadron was properly set up for a one night encampment. In just 5 hours, Mitz would have to arouse his men and tell them to get packing. Mitz took off his heavy combat boots and set them next to his cot. This was all that he had energy for. He then collapsed onto his cot and fell asleep instantly.

Coalition Encampment
July 23 - 04:00

*Bang* *Bam*

The sudden noises woke Mitz up immediately. Two screams broke out. "Sir! We are under attack!" hollered The seargants acting Aid-de-Camp from the tent over. Mitz grabbed his pistol and ran, barefooted, outside.

A minor confrontation between Kerlilian troops and Coalition forces soon issued. The Kerlilins were quickly routed and fled. Although Libertas Omnium Maxiumus was only dealt 5 casualties, 4 of them were friendly fire. Mitz, who was in command until Baker returned from Carville, realized that some of his men were just to inexperienced for this. They needed more training than they received. They panicked when they should not have. Mitz knew something had to be done to avoid another incident such as this. So, he returned to his tent, pulled out his laptop, and drafted the fallowing memo:

To: Corporal Arnold Baker Jr.
From: Sergeant Johan Svek Mitz
Subject: Many of the units under my command.

It has come to my attention that many of the men that are serving in this campaign, approximately 1,050, were not properly trained for prolonged combat scenarios. They were apparently pulled from boot camp early in order to make it to Launchenioria so quickly. They are good men with good hearts, I believe, but this will not keep them from being killed, injured, or undermining the success of this campaign. I am requesting your advice on how to fix this issue.

The sergeant clicked send and ventured out of his tent to help with body ID and cleanup. The next morning, just as he was about to pack away his laptop, Mitz received this email:

To: Sergeant Johan Svek Mitz
From: Corporal Arnold Baker Jr.
Re-Units under my command.

Understood. The men need training but the Coalition needs them too. Have them retreat to Carville, there I can run training exercises with them and have them join you when they are ready. The 900 already in Carville will head out to meet you as soon as the newbies arrive. With this said, it will take time for the 900 to reach you again. For now, you'll have to do with only 3,550 troops. Good Luck.
