  • Trimestral Elections:
    Elections have been held and what a race it has been. Especially the newly appointed Secretaries of Defense and WA-Affairs had to wrestle for quite a few days until a clear lead could be made out in the runnings. Also within the Texas Representative Council has been some movement. It now consists of The Protectorate of [nation]Lewisville Texas[/nation], The Omnioppressive Nation of [nation]Narshtaph[/nation], The Serene Compassionate Utopia of [nation]Safj[/nation], The Kingdom of [nation]Shemiki[/nation] and The Southeast Texan Republic of [nation]United States of Woodward[/nation]. The people of Gorganion would like to congratulate all elected to their posts and hope that the IDU will gladly chime in.
    On a side note: No Constitutional Changes were put to vote.
    
    
  • Election Party: As is good tradition in Texas there was held a wild and overflowing Election Party. This trimester we were happy to being served a wide assortment of Texan and German Beer, freshly made Fajitas, mountains of Doughnuts and a Whole Lotta Love by Led Zepplin themselves. As of now the underpaid workers are still trying to pick up the trash and remnants over a week later...
    
    
  • F799:
    Leadership issues within the Nation of Secretatry of Defense seem to be finally resolved. In an unprecedented act the acclaimed daughter and heir to Pharaoh Ben Nimajne was pulled out of someones sleeve and was presented to the people of F799. There was appearently instant acceptance of Emily Nim, Goddess of Nimajnism and Divine Protector of the Ninean People. We are not entirely sure yet what happened to Pharaoh Ben as there was no further news from F799 regarding his whereabouts. Rumour has it that the ex-leader is living in exile in a different Texan nation but no confirmation of this could be had.
    
    
  • Texas Weekly Chat:
    The Texas Weekly Chat has now been running for 670 weeks straight, each Saturday 6:00 pm GMT. Feel free to join in and discuss all things pertaining Texas (or whatever else we want to talk about).   • Texas Defense Force (TDF):
    Engaging in an Multiregional Effort the TDF took part in the Liberation of a Major NS-Region from The Black Hawks. It was a massive joint venture, amounting in a final and successful assault on friday night. As of now almost all operations seem to have come to conclusion and Texas troops are heading home to home soil for Christmas celebrations.
    Furthermore F799 announced to rearrange TDF a bit. Not many informations have come out of this closed circle but supposedly there will be a whole new setup of troop training and intelligence gathering.
