Delegate's Cabinet
#1

I am delighted to announce my cabinet for the coming three months. Each choice was my first choice and I firmly believe they are the best people for the job.

Minister for Foreign Affairs
I am most happy to announce that Ascovis will be renewing his tenure as Minister for Foreign Affairs. I know he takes pride in the International Democratic Union, and I am confident he will create new and strong ties with other regions.

Minister for Immigration
I am conscious that the IDU has been slipping in terms of new recruits and that this effecting us in other areas, most notably the number of endorsements the Delegate has. The Immigration Ministry has been vacant for some time, so I'm delighted to say that former Delegate Sciongrad will be taking this position. I know he'll do well.

Minister for Culture
This is a new position, but one that needs to be created. If we want to keep the new recruits we are lucky to attract, we have to be a active region, one with an identity and a purpose. We are a region that loves to roleplay, be it in the World Assembly, in NS Sports, through diplomatic wrangling, or even just via posting our nations' news. I think we need to foster and cultivate this, and make the IDU not only known for its prolific WA authors, but also for its standard of RP. I'm happy to announce that The Dark Star Republic will be joining my team as Minister for Culture.

As Delegate I will be continuing to act as the region's premier spokesperson on WA Affairs. I really hope that my team and I will be able to revitalise and rejuvenate the IDU so it can be the active region it used to be.
