Which sports are popular in your nation?

MikitivityAug 11 2005, 10:31 PMYou'll also note that on NSWiki that I went ahead and placed the IDU Cart. entry as being Domnonia's category.  However, with NSWiki stuff, if anybody posts their updates here, others of us can go in and tie some of your entries to our entries.

I've seen a few of us being active on NSWiki and that is great!  Actually, I was going to ask Adam Island to consider hosting an exhibition AIBL game in Miervatia City once a year and also feeling free to have some Adam Island players come from other IDU nations.  Smile  Sadly, the Thuvians are not idea for baseball, so it is a domed sport.  Wink
Sounds like a great idea to me- a few spring training games in the great white north might be fun Wink
Bwahahaha! Excellent.

I'll start working on a domed stadium in Miervatia City, what will have a baseball configuration ... during the AIBL season it will also be used for concerts. I'll link the NSWiki entry here when done.

Groot GoudaAug 12 2005, 06:08 PMGo Magpies!
GrosseschnauzerAug 13 2005, 12:22 AMMaybe we could have baseball and all three forms of football. That would justify the costs of multi-purpose stadia with luxury boxes and all the trimmings!
As long as it isn't a full season sort of thing, there might be enough interest in my nation for exhibition games, and that would certainly justify the costs of multi-purpose stadiums (stadia?).
DataGenesisAug 13 2005, 06:00 AMHmm... good idea, however There are more than three versions of football, methinks! Tongue

Aussie Rules
Soccer ("football")
Grid Iron
Rugby Union
Rugby League
Gaelic
International Rules (Australian + Gaelic Hybrid)

And probably others that I don't remember!
