On a side note, how come I cannot post replies to certain threads, such as the January 2010 Elections thread? When I try to post it tells me that I do not have permission to reply to that topic. And how come I'm defined as a "guest"?

I don't know how you got left in that category, but have just logged in to the Admin controls and reclassified you as an 'IDU Member' which should give you all of the access that you need.
