I'm sorry that I didn't get back to you more quickly on this, but a combination of RL circumstances (including, it seems, incompatibility between this site and the main computer system that I use for NS...) and activity in other parts of NS firstly got in the way and then drove it out of my mind...
I'd seen an area on the map labelled 'Siddar' and, not recalling having ever seen an active nation of that precise name, thought that it might actually be you.
If you still haven't chosen a location then I'd like to know whether your nation was actually shut-off from outside contact (at least as far as this region was concerned, although perhaps you might have had 'portal' links to elsewhere...) until very recently? If it was, then one obvious location would be the strip of 'Unknown Lands' that lie to the east of Bears Armed & its 'Wilderlands Protectorate' but to the west of Antrium, which (as explained in another thread in this forum) were sealed by a mystical barrier almost 2'000 years ago, ...
Oh, and re your nation's cultural details: Were you by any chance inspired by the 'Elfquest' comic?
