I coined "Grosseschnauzer" as my first NS nation as my RL nic for the internet has used "schnauzers" as all or part of it going back 15 years. "Grosse" is sometimes used in German to mean "great" or "large" so....
All of my puppets either use "schnauzer" as part of the name, or is the formal name of one or more of the schnauzers I've had over the years. When you llok at the schnauzerlands on the regional maps, almost all of the cities are taken from RL Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. A few also reflect the names of schnauzers that have been in my family over the years (and all of the schnauzers have had German names!)
