Domnonia(or Dumnonia) was a British kingdom in the early 1st millenium and is credited in part with unifying all of Britain against the Saxon hordes. It failed, in the end of course. It is also the Kingdom that most Arthur scholars place the supposed King. Growing up, I couldn't get enough of the old maps I'd find in Encyclopedias and Atlas' at the library.
