At some point in these next 24 hours, a milestone in the history of the Democratic Federation of Grosseschnauzer will be reached, as the oldest of the five schnauzervolk nations attains a population of over 1 billion citizens.

The commemorations will be subdued, out of respect to our late head of state, but the other schnauzervolk nations will also be reaching this threshhold over the next month or so, and these milestones will also be commemorated. When the last of the schnauzervolk nations attains this level, a national holiday and celebration will be declared.

The Empire is over 1.5 billion. While we are a geographically large nation, it is becoming more difficult for Emperor Ullr to find a peaceful retreat in which to vacation. We may soon have to consider some coersive measures to bring this "bunny syndrome" into check.

Congratulations Grosseschauzer on your historical milestone. Being a rather small nation, we have a long way to go if we ever become that large. As a reminder the Commonwealth of Quentoni has many quaint villages and remote hideaways catering to those who seek discretion and exclusion. The Emporer or Ullr may find something acceptable here, I'm sure.
