Nations have ISO nation codes, like IRL. How should we structure ours?

OPTION I: Each nation has an IDU nation code. For interregional purposes, it is prefixed with a region code, which I believe ought to be ID, although other suggestions are welcomed.

OPTION II: Keep as is: each nation has an IDU code, as well as a four letter interregional code

I support option I.

This is an excellent idea for many reasons (recruitment among them), but I think the best reason is it makes it easier for those of us shuffling through NSWiki lists to keep a watchful eye on IDU information. Sometimes we tend to help each other out, so having us in a group would be nice.

As the Vice-Delegate, unless Antrium objects, I believe you do have that authority. Besides, there would have to be 10 votes against for the motion to fail.

Are you going to take care of the NSWiki article? I've been doing some regional hopping for the Best 2005 UN Resolution.

All you needed to do is ask.

You can upload images to NSWiki, though Goobergunchia (who owns it) prefers that we don't load too many images ... flags and small flag icons, that will be used on many pages are totally relevant and good to load to NSWiki.

To make a small icon, I just took my flag image into MS Illustrator and then transformed the scale / dimensions to 20%. I then saved the reduced image as a *.gif

Then I uploaded my new flag icon to NSWiki.

You can link to images hosted on NSWiki using the following syntax:

[[Image:{nameofimage}]]


Here is the problem with NSWiki hosting your images ... if you want to *update* an image, it has given me problems. Perhaps Ceorana or Neu Hamsterdam can help out then.

@Mik. I don't have anything other than MS Paint to work with, and I'm not sure how to downsize it with that program. But I'll see what I can do in a couple of days. But if someone decides to take pity on me and get Kinderliebstadt and Amazing Race taken care of, that's OK, too.

Yeah. What you want to do to replace an image is put a {{delete}} tag on the image page (and maybe ask Gruen or I to delete it as well). Then, when we delete it, upload the new one.

Alternatively, you can upload it to a different name, change all the links, and then put a {{delete}} tag on the old one.
