I came home today to find this in my mail.
Wait a minute... I recognize that picture! OMG, that's my picture! I took that for the Wikipedia page about that park. I happen to live right nearby, so I went down to the river and took it. I kind of wish I hadn't put it in public domain, so I would get credit. But then again, it probably wouldn't have been used then. Oh well.

I'm not a fan of Tim Gordon. New York has had a budget crisis recently (meaning the last 20-odd years). This year's budget took way too long to pass, and one of the things that happened was a huge cut to the state parks budget. (Thus the picture of a state park) Assemblyman Gordon here, when he should've been in the Capitol working on the budget, decided to go have a photo-op mowing the lawn at one of the state parks.
But then, he's not as bad as my state Senator, Neil Breslin, who was part of the cause of our state Senate's coup last year. New York State leadership crisis is redundant.
