I abstained.

I completely agree. I didn't care for the original because it did sort of read too heavily into the finer details of life, but I also generally do not like repeals.

Parts of this repeal are very well written ... I'm not going to vote against it. But I also don't know if I completely agree with the statement, "Further regretting that the resolution allows defendants any number of appeals they wish,". I don't think this is untrue, but I also am undecided if this is consistent with my view.

I do feel there is a strong point I'll toss out as a possible reason to vote in favour:

"Seeking the opportunity to introduce a more effective version of this resolution to the World Assembly,"

Overall DE did a great job with the repeal and isn't closing the door.

This has nothing to do with any "gifts" being sent to my government from nations in favour of the resolution. Nothing at all.
