More Owls

The national animal of Ceorana is the Ceoranan Great Horned Owl, and I'm doing a wiki article on it. The birds have a very slight migration and are probably going to restrict themselves to temperate regions. I'm also making a range map, so would anyone like any?

I'll have some, unless the climate or location is wrong.

Cool. I think having a range centered in Ceorana and having branches fanning out south would work, and then I could also draw up some migration paths if nations even farther south wanted some.

Domnonia and Mikitivity are also owl countries. The Miervatian Burrowing Owl tends to live in higher elevations and cooler climates. But to the east in Hawkins canton (near Bears Armed) Great Horned Owls would be welcomed as a bird of prey. Smile

Remember to include the critter in the IDU Ecology category.

Great! If I can dig up a copy of the geological map (I thought I had one in the svg you gave me, but Inkscape keeps choking when I try to open it), I'll use that as a guide and put a white semitransparent area over the places where the owl doesn't live, to give that cool effect of having the range of the animal have more vivid geological coloring and such.

I'd like to have some of these owls, too. They could live in the north-eastern mountains of Saidercray.

Without a visible map, this is just a guess, but most of the southern half of the schnauzerlands is mountains and valleys with cooler weather, so I would guess they would be a natural habitation for the owls as well.
