Small Silly Things

This morning started off bad (not horrible), with me accidently breaking my umbrella (I ripped the tie for it apart while trying to open it ... but I went to the batting cages to test out my new softball bat and WOW it is great. Then I went to the grocery store (after replacing my watch battery that died on me today at 11:47 am PDT) to find Delerium Noel (a beer from my favorite Belgian brewery ... it is an import to the US) *and* to find incense being sold at my grocery! *woot*

This morning started off like crap, with me getting up at 5:30 so that I could write a paper that was due at 1pm, because I felt too bloody sick to do it yesterday. Of course, I didn't feel much better this morning, so we'll see how that went.

Actually, I've found I tend to give good public presentations when hung over ... though I am noticably "Dark Side" about those presentations ... not that I've strangled anybody while giving a presentation, but twisted and ruthless, yup.

Interestingly enough, I think I did better in discussion classes today than normally, so maybe we share something there Smile

Interesting side fact: when I am drunk and/or have a hangover, I speak and write French fluently and well.
The evening before the last French exam I got drunk with a friend, and the next day we wrote the two best tests Big Grin.

Sans alcohol, not so much; then I have trouble stating my name.

So the logic here is that we should be consistently buzzed to be at our best!
