With the Intersteller Federation of DataGenesis at a population of 2.32 billion; the inevitable has occured. Aliens have landed in response to the supreme desire to gamble in our casinos with our children.
The nation has now reached the SUPREME form of government! ANARCHY!
Ahhh yes.... some say it is the lowest form of government (or no government at all), but others believe it to be the extreme.
From our daily description; It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Education, and Law & Order. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 65%. A substantial private sector is dominated by the Gambling industry.
Corporations are either above the law or corrupting it, public loudspeakers constantly tell citizens they are "happy people", young children are regularly seen wagering pocket money at blackjack tables, and citizens are frequently held up at gunpoint by their local pizza delivery boys. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is a serious problem. DataGenesis's national animal is the Puppy, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Shiney.
