Delegate Election September 2011
#1

Here we go...

Candidates may announce that they're running for the job, and start campaigning, from the 28th August (i.e. the forthcoming Sunday) onwards.

Voting will then open one week after that date, and run for one week.

Those eligible to run for office and to vote are: Bears Armed Mission (can not run for office again due to term limits), Sidh Ohn Embassy, Cachette de Lions, Eenen, Groot Gouda, The Coyote Coalition, Unified Western States, Kanatakan, The Penguins Island, Embolalia, Sanat Kumara, Nuveo Tejas, Enan and Ead, Brenway, Shuyler, 13millers, Jor-Eps, Sawia.

The only copy of our 'Election charter' that I've found so far is slightly out of date, as it still refers to the UN rather than the WA and has 2-month terms of office rather than the 3-month ones to which I'm certain we switched quite a while back, but i think that it's accurate apart from those two points: http://s10.zetaboards.com/IDU/topic/707540/1/#new .
(I'll spend some more time looking this weekend, unless somebody else manages to locate a significantly newer copy before I can do so...)

Hmmm... OK then. Per the discussion on the NS regional board, if no one objects before Bears gets back, I suppose I'll have S.O.Embassy run unapposed, then appoint someone else as the Vice-Delegate who will do the majority of the actual work for the term.
