The 2019 International Democratic Union Olympic Committee

Esteemed individuals fortunate enough to call the International Democratic Union their home,

I am very grateful for your support of this ordeal; to create and establish for the long term an athletic competition of unmatched prowess that shall be open to all member-states of this fine union. It shall test and push to the limits an athlete’s courage, agility, speed, and resolve.

I am further pleased to report that the Olympic Committee, over which I have had the distinct fortune to preside over these past months, has thoroughly deliberated the merits of a nation among us and deemed them worthy to host the prestigious event that is the inaugural IDU Olympics. I now formally name that nation as being non-other than The Incorporated States of [nation]Shuell[/nation] and their capital city of Central.

They shall host the games at a time and date not yet set by the Olympic Committee. This time and date will be released as soon as a consensus is reached by this committee.

It is my distinct pleasure to announce that the events list for the upcoming 2019 Central Olympic Games has been finalized and the qualification process may commence at once.
In this Olympiad the following athletic events shall be hosted and are open for all nations of the IDU to participate in:

Archery - Individuals and Team (Male and Female)

Athletics - 100m, 800m, and 1500m runs (Male and Female)

Discus Throw (M,F,)

High Jump (M,F,)

Aquatics - 100m backstroke, freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly

200m: backstroke, freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly (M,F,)

Diving (M,F,)

Association Football (M,F,)

Biathlon - 20M (M,F,) 15M (M,F,)

Basketball (M,F,)

Boxing

Bobsleigh (M,F,)

Four-person (M)

Two-person (M,F,)

Cycling (M,F)

Fencing - Foil (M,F,)

Saber (M,F,)

Gymnastics - Acrobatic (F,) Artistic (F,) Artistic Team (F,)

Handball (M,F,)

Hockey (M,F,)

Luge - Singles (M,F,)

Doubles (M,F,)

Skeleton (M,F,)

Tennis (M,F,)

Triathlon (M,F,)

Decathlon - Wrestling, 1500M Athletics, 200M Aquatics, Long Jump, Discus (M,F)

Athletes may begin the qualifiers at this time for all of the above sports.
