The office of the Chancellor for the five schnauzervolk nations has issued a statement in which the governments and the schnauzervolk extend their respects and deepest condolences on this sad occasion. The traditional head of the schnauzervolk, Edelweiss II, has announced she will head the official delegation to the funeral ceremonies.
Edelweiss II ascended to the high seat as head of state on the passing of her mother, Kinderlieb II, three months ago, and this makes her first international journey outside the schnauzerlands in her official capacity as head of state.
(The schnauzervolk nations include Grosseschnauzer, Kinderliebstadt, Purple Schnauzers, Schnauzer States and Schnauzer Homelands in that area of the International Democratic Union often referred to as the schnauzerlands.)
