I came in tonight just to see if there was any new discussion about NS 2, only to find we were pornspa,ed by both a registered and unregistered user, with a total of 9 threads scattered throughout the forums.
I've moved then deleted them from the new lock box. I also banned the registered user (and blocked the IP and email domain) and blocked the name of the unregistered user.
I've also made the new "lock box" accessible to all admin and mods, so mods can move spam threads to the lock box for an admin to deal with.
All admin are requested to place the email and IPs of registered users in the ban filters, and the name of unregistered users as well.
If we consistently handle these TOS violations in this fashion, they'll either be blocked totally at some point or give ip. (I did this at the TNP forums about six months ago, and after a couple of weeks it stopped.)
