			Senators (Eirian: Senatēsei) are paid an annual salary of 90,000 lunens, or 7,500 lunens a month. They are also allotted funding for the salaries of a chief of staff, a legal counselor, and three other office staff, as well as a stipend for travel expenses. Senators are allowed the franking privilege for non-campaign material and receive a benefit package that is roughly on par with senior officers of the [[Chancellor's Bureaucracy (Eiria)\|Chancellor's Bureaucracy]].

			Each Senator may be on two committees, with Senators only assigned one committee being part of the pool to be called on for an emergency committee if need be. There is no limit on how many subcommittee councils senators may be on, as that is up to party leadership and the Council of Committee Assignments.

			Furthermore, Senators on a committee are eligible to hold one of five top non-partisan positions on that committee. They are as follows:

			*Chair of the Committee
			**The Chair is the primary administrator of a particular committee. They oversee committee proceedings, set the schedule, and call committee votes on bills.
			*Vice Chair of the Committee
			**The Vice Chair is the primary assistant to the chair and first in line to succeed them. They take over running committee proceedings if the chair is absent or unable, and they also read and record any amendments offered on bills.
			*Secretary of the Committee
			**The Secretary is second in line to the Chair and is responsible for the recording and maintenance of all papers and documents generated by their committee. They also are responsible for calling the roll.
			*Delegate of the Committee
			**The Delegate is third in line to the Chair and is responsible for informing other branches of government and the public of committee proceedings and politics. They are a member of what is called the "Bridge Delegation," an body of all committee delegates that coordinates policy with the Chancellor and their staff.
			*Officer of the Committee
			**The Officer is fourth in line (and furthest from) the Chair position. They are tasked with hiring and overseeing the committee's individual staff (with the approval of the Chair).
