			The Liberal Party was the primary proponent of the 2017 referendum to legalise private enterprise in Lauchenoiria, commonly known as the capitalism referendum. The Liberal Party supports the right to form private for-profit enterprises and accumulate capital. However, they do not support the total privatisation of state-owned industry, unlike the [[Conservative Party (Lauchenoiria)\|Conservatives]]. Rather, the Liberals support a market economy with state-owned industry competing against private industry; with the state maintaining a monopoly in certain critical infrastructural areas such as the provision of mains drinking water, public transportation, and healthcare.
