			The city's greater metropolitan area is inhabited by around 1.2 million people; roughly a fifth of the population of Glanainn. The vast majority of the population are ethnically Glannish, with a considerable Opthelian minority, as a legacy of colonialism.

			Craobhaig is host to several festivals throughout the year, including the largest celebrations of the week-long Lùnastal harvest festival at the start of August, which is celebrated throughout Glanainn.
