Hello everybody!
I feel like I have gone from fairly active to hyperactive here on the forum recently. Being a newcomer at this I have'nt been able to curb my enthusiasm just yet (working 9-5 in front of a computer everyday helps adding to my post frenzy aswell
)Anyway, I just started a Gnejs newspapper, The Gnejs Enquirer, and would like to send out the gnejsian foreign minister on a tour to IDU nations and report about it in the Enquirer.
Of course I would like your premission before writing about your nations, and also some fun info about the nations.
So, the question would be, who would like a visit from the foreign minister of Gnejs? (not to mention prime news space in Gnejs biggest newspapper!)
as for nation info such things as capital city, name of leading officials and other stuff your nation is proud of would be great!

The Most Serene Republic of Baranxtu will be the first country on Mr. Nicholas Winborgs IDU-tour. The Kingdom of Otea and The Constitutional Monarchy of Cikoutimi will also be visited.

The government of Stolidia would be happy to welcome the distinguished Foreign Minister. Our President, Mr. Robert Smith, has stated he'd be glad to meet with the Foreign Minister. He doesn't have much to do until he has to preside at the opening of the quarter-finals of the semi-annual National Checkers Tournament next month.

In Switzerland it is customary for parks to have HUGE person sized chess / checkboards along with free pieces. People will go to the parks and play each other ... chess or checkers.
I have some photos of this, but I won't be able to dig one out til later.
But this would actually make a fascinating NSWiki national sport / gaming article.
Me, I was working the California State Fair today, and after my shift was over ... I managed to get some pictures of:
- goats,
- a barn owl,
- a milliped, &
- a beaver.
Naturally three of the four critters will be incorporated into Mikitivity's Ecology. I've already got plenty of burrowing owl material, so I thinking that Dom (also an owl lover) might need the barn owl pic. The beaver was HUGE ... the owl was big, but only weighed 1.5 lbs! And he was the size of an adult cat!!!
