The Baranxtuan Scriptures - Baranxtu - 08-03-2006

Yes, I have no life I really have way too much time thought I could do you a little favor and whip out my somewhat rusty writing skills (or should that be Mad AUTHORING SkillZ?) and do some translating of already existing material and restyle it somewhat, and so, today, I present you:

The First Scripture
(direct link to a doc file uploaded to geocities)

It's basically just for some background information as to why Baranxtimans are the way they are and why they're so ultraliberal (because that's in no way because I, er, created them that way Rolleyes )

It's rather short, and I'm still stuck translating the Second Scripture, which is a lot longer (including lotsa strange forms of not-so-immaculate conceptions), a lot darker (castration! maiming! incurable diseases!) and... a lot... more goody things (bananas! no Paris Hilton!).

So, if you have some time to waste, read it, and of course, feeding the author will be rewarded with cookilicious goodness.

First Post Scriptum: And do not be afraid when half of the document appears underlined red. It uses many names your Word won't recognize.
Second Post Scriptum: Something like a pronunciation guide can be found here on the wiki.

Very impressive.

Have you ever read any of Lord Dunsaney's short stories, from collections such as 'The Gods of Pegana'?
