Charter Amendment (Removal of Inner Council) - Lauchenoiria - 02-23-2024

The following proposal to amend the LIDUN Charter is brought to vote:

In clause 9, remove the following two sentences: "All substantive business introduced to the Council shall first require the approval of a majority of members of the Inner Council of the Security Council. The Inner Council shall comprise the President of the Security Council and four members of the Security Council elected from within its membership by its members on the basis of their great influence."

The effect of this proposal would be to remove the requirement for Security Council business to be approved by the Inner Council, as well as remove said Inner Council from existence.

Voting shall be open for one week from the time of posting; and the vote requires two-thirds support to pass.

The delegation from Doatia recognizes that the duration for the vote on removing the inner council has ended, and that the motion has passed. We apologize for our absence on this important matter and would like to clarify that our delegation supports this initiative and would've voted AYE, for the record. Thank you
