Someone who writes a lot. "scribent" means "writing" in Latin.

Thought it'd look nice. If anyone else has better ideas, feel free. The admins can assign a text according to the # of posts.

OK, that makes sense. Based on the root bearing a resemblance to "scribe" I had assumed it had something to do with writing, but curiosity got the better of me.

I did mean to write "(pig) latin", to make it clear that most of the latin I learned at school is now buried deeper than Pompei and Herculaneum.
