Bears Armed's judge in this contest is Urrsuer'ha SilverBear, current head of the Cheesemongers' Association in the city of NorthPort. She has wandered around the hall, tasting samples of the different cheeses and cleansing her palate between each two with a glass of orange juice (made from Ceorana'a coolness-tolerant oranges) followed by a glass of water. After a period of consideration she then hands in this list of "best entries" _

Best Imported Cheese _ Tequila Jack Cheese (Great Tequila Island)
Best Cheese-related Product _ Kwermbrynyr Rarebite (Bears Armed [The Ursine Northlands])
She would also like to suggest that in future competitions any non-dairy "cheeses" that might be entered, as both 'Milicheese Vegan Cheese' and 'Seaway Sansamooshi' were on this occasion, should qualify only for the 'Best Cheese-Related Product' category instead of placed with the "true" cheeses.

2021 represents Gardavasque's first time participating in the IDU Cheese Festival. Sharing the judging duties this year were Margaret Jo McCullen and Terri Rialto, award-winning co-hosts of "The Pleasant Platter" a weekly three-hour public radio program focusing on home-cooking and light entertaining. Recapping her experience, Margaret Jo gushed, "This is my first time traveling to Seahaven, and I had such a fun time, truly. You know, there are few things I love more than beautiful sunsets, satisfying conversation, and a delicious dish of regional cheeses. And I think this year we were really treated to the creme de la creme of all three." Chiming in, Terri added, "Oh I know what you mean, Margaret Jo. With such high quality cheese samples from all over the world, it's so difficult to decide which was the dairy best."

(OOC: So as much as I'd like to see two unanimous rewards, I have to pick what I feel, hehe.)
The Jutsaish lady with the maroon trench coat roamed booth to booth with the duck following her around. She thought about giving some of the cheese to the duck, but she wasn't sure if it was either legal nor environmentally sensible to do so. She carried with her a wine glass filled with hot water to help clean her pallet between cheeses, but also to help test to see if cheeses were better warm than cold. She had no visible clothing pin on her nose, although this was apparently to "assess the smell of the individual cheeses".
She passed the stand representing Bears Armed. She admitted the Kwermbrynyr Rarebite was pretty tasty, which frankly killed her. She then went by the stand of Great Tiquila Island, and tried the tequila jack. Not being familiar with alcohol, given its being illegal in Jutsa, this was a very unusual flavor - not bad, and not much worse than Seaway Sansamooshi, but still peculiar. This is also quite possibly what turned her off from the Capravino from Gardavasque that seemed to be all the rage. Xiomera's artisan tziquia cheese definitely came a close second, while Millicheese just tasted like a ripoff of Jutsaish Carufoye. The stagcapri was a bit tangy, and had difficulty going down when the duck made her trip and spill her hot water all over the stand, but overall was found to be quite decent. She was ready with her decision.
She strode over to some obscure part of the hall which contained three Jutsae who'd been watching her carefully - at least, they were supposed to be. In reality they were playing a Jutsaish version of rock paper scissors called Tree Fly Toad and Drought, with flies vs. drought and trees vs. toads resulting in a draw. She went over her results with the team, who had tried out all of the cheeses and cheese products themselves beforehand not to judge but rather to help give advice in case of uncertainty as well as better discern whether the judge was bribed. After a good few minutes she comes back with her duck.
"I believe I am ready to vote," she said, holding a model of the Ultimate Pleasantanizer in her hand and sadly looking at it. She knew that she could make a decent amount of money if she voted the right way, but she also knew she had to be as unbiased as possible both to keep her job and out of personal preference.
