A pineapple, hr'rmm? Well, that's 'different'...
Bears Armed & its associated nations have anthropomorphic Bears (& Badgers, Foxes, & Otters), sapient Ravens, and some other "non-human" peoples, as well as several types of humanoids; and there was a whole cluster of long-established nations whose populations were fairly evenly balanced between humans and sapient Schnauzers; and there's whatever Sidh Ohn's people actually are; but I think that you're our first 'Plant' nation...

To me that name looks, for some reason, rather pronoun-like: Would a literal translation of it into English be simply the label "Us"?

Actually, the most literal translation would be "Close Relative", and it is interchangeably used for "Brother", "Sister", and "Cousin" as well. Sidh simply means "People", so the closest direct translation would simply be "Related People", though for the Ohn themselves, this would be a gross oversimplification. This also brings up some rather sordid questions regarding the "Ohn Wolf"...
