Sorry, I think there was a minor miscommunication. I was operating on the assumption that everybody was OK with the delay in the games. I'd suggest we attribute the delay to extreme rainfall in Mikitivity this week.

Here is the revised official schedule:

Yup, everything looks good to me. In the past Michel (Groot Gouda) may have simply dropped a 4-digit vs. a 5-digit score, but since similar digits result in a push (and it is never possible to have a 0-0 score using this system, though other ties are likely) I think just treating the placeholder as a zero is fine.

What are the 3's, 1's and 0's after the scores?

The result depends on the digits in the nations' UN ranking positions. The first digit in nation's position is compared to the first digit in the second nation's position and so on. If a digit in a nation's position is higher than the corresponding digit in the other nation's position, the team of the nation with the higher digit has scored a goal.
For example if nation A's position is 89718 and nation B's position 44365, nation A wins 4-1 (8 higher than 4, 9 higher than 4, 7 higher than 3, 1 lower than 6, 8 higher than 5). I think thsi is the way it has also been done last year.

Afterwards, like in real football, a victory means 3 points, a remis means 1 point and a defeat means 0 points.

Otea ceased to exist! What's your idea about dealing with Otea's matches?

My idea is to declare Otea the last team of division 1 with 0 points and that we ignore all of Otea's matches, so that every team of division 1 plays only 4 matches and has one free day.

Another thing you could do is replace Otea's ranking with Cikoutimi's and call it Otea's. They're both puppets of Baranxtu, and I don't see how it would matter much.

Should we agree to say that the problem in the unscored match was due to poor field conditions following instense rainfall?

Furthermore, Miervatia is home to the Gletscher Dome, so at least two teams each series will be playing in a covered stadium. Smile For those of you writing about the games, there is a Wikipedia article about the Gletscher Dome ... I'll add more to it in coming weeks.

This seems a practical solution to me. The match South Antrium - Otea could be made up leeway the day after the regular end of the group phase. But if anyone wants to take exception to this solution, please do it.
