Description: Valahandia is technically a FORMER nation (it collapsed in 1821) located on the coast of Liberalia. In order to denote its non-existence in the modern day, it may make sense to use dotted lines for the border or note the nation's year of disestablishment. City placement wise, Doundaín is located on the east coast. I have no requests regarding river placement. The ones that are already there look great!

My country has a relatively small population (as of this post I decided on 1.2 million, but I might up it to 2 million) spread thinly along the coast. I'm not familiar with IDU's guideline for a relatively small country like that. The interior of the country is mostly going to be unexploited densely forested (jungle) regions, so the borders beyond the coastal region is going to be neatly drawn lines on a map. The lines I've drawn on the map are mostly just indicators of in which region it's going to be located, if the mapper(s) prefer Rumasaya to be confined to a small coastal region only that's completely fine by me.

Because I'm not sure how important the rivers depicted on the map are, and whether it's preffered for those to be given to larger and more important countries I marked three areas on the map in case one (or both) are a bit too important to be occupied by a minor country. I'd preferably get the red region, followed by the blue one (with one river) or otherwise the green zone without any rivers showing.

Description of Capital City Placement: The capital is going to be located either next to the river and along the coast (for the red or blue requests), or on the coast relative to the centre in case of the green request.

I hate to give you more work, but I'd like to request that the Chaucer Sea (off the coast of Libertas Omnium Maximus) be renamed the Bay of Chaucer, seeing as that body of water is not, in fact, a "sea" at all. Nation Name: Ocarissa 


Ocarissa is located directly west of New Darya. The southeastern border is a river and the southern border is the largest inlet to it's south. There are some islands to the north and west of this nation. Any islands that can be claimed should be part of this request. The western border is ocean, The northern border is ocean, the northeastern and eastern border are Zamastan and New Darya. 

The land between The Wild Forest Of Lions and Tigers and Bears and an inlet to the northeast is also good and would be a great addition to the republic of Ocarissa. This second area has an eastern border with the river that starts at the end of the Northern inlet and ends near the southern inlet and has a northwestern border with the ocean. The north and south borders are the large inlets. Ocarissa requests both lands, The northern half and the southern half.




Capital City: Ocarissa City is located on end of the peninsula located in the Northwest corner of the country. it is surrounded by ocean with an island directly to its north.

Thank you for your request. I have done my best to include most of what you wanted, however, I reduced the size of your map claim by about 20% (for now). This is to keep a balance of leaving space for future nations to claim.

In order to claim border territory with other nations, I need their consent beforehand. I've reached out to Comhar and Grundhavn on your behalf. What real-life nation has characteristics similar to your nation in terms of size, location, geography, or culture? The Russian Federation and Austria-Hungary are the two most similar countries. Is there anything else you would like the Ministry of Cartography to know? I would prefer as large of a land mass as possible; my nation is a multi-ethnic one that has gradually expanded through wars, marriages, and diplomacy over hundreds of years so it would make the most RP sense for a large country with a high number of regions within it.

Please reflect the dissolution of the Netlcoatl Islands and their absorption into other states as shown below:

The blue islands will be reverting to Huenyan control and the orange one will be under Xiomeran control. The name of the islands can also be removed from the map. I know I had just asked for something different, and I am super appreciative of you accommodating my RP-driven whims.  Big Grin

I would also like to request the following addition to Xiomera noted below:

What real-life nation has characteristics similar to your nation in terms of size, location, geography, or culture: No one country is particularly similar; the Novella Islands are an amalgam of both existing national characteristics, and wholly new ones. For example, the Novellan Archipelago itself stretches 1162.5km East-West, by 759.5km North-South; the total land mass covers only ~22% of this, at 195,000km2 (approximately the same amount of land mass as Great Britain). Culturally, it is predominantly colonised by those of Western European lineage. Botanically, it has flora similar to several nations, most notably those from parts of Japan and China.
